Prepare and review
- Keep your original feed. Load a flat UTF-8 CSV/TSV with Google's English attribute headers and an explicit comma, tab or semicolon delimiter.
- Choose the actual country, Shopping ads or free listings, one feed currency and the fallback category for rows without google_product_category.
- Review errors, warnings and Not assessed findings separately. Follow the official source links and correct your original file manually.
- The full edition exports the complete formula-neutralized UTF-8 CSV findings report, including row/ID, attribute, original value, rule, source URL, context and review time. This does not rewrite or upload the feed.
Download the synthetic sample feed. It deliberately has a duplicate ID, missing shoe size, missing preorder date, different currency and invalid GTIN check digit.
Supported checks
Common required attributes; ID uniqueness and case/whitespace warnings; stated length/value limits; absolute encoded HTTP(S) URL syntax without embedded credentials; availability and date dependency; explicit decimal price/currency; supported condition and identifier values; one numeric GTIN of 8/12/13/14 digits with a check digit; bounded clothing/shoes fields and repeated supported variant dimensions. The UI and CSV link each finding to an official requirement. Checksum validity does not establish GS1 ownership or that a number belongs to a product. No identifiers, taxonomy or AI-content origin are invented.
Country contexts: US, GB, DE, FR, CA, AU, JP and BR. Other keeps country-specific requirements unassessed. Currencies: USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, JPY, BRL, CHF, KWD. Prices accept a point with up to six fractional digits and no grouping/exponents; this tool performs no currency conversion or tax calculation. Clothing/shoes checks recognize exact IDs 1604/187 and their English named paths. The broader 166 category and other numeric taxonomy IDs/exceptions stay unassessed. The fallback category applies only to blank row categories.
What remains unassessed
Account/policy eligibility, landing-page agreement, live stock/price, crawlability, image dimensions/quality/metadata, shipping/tax/account settings, identifier ownership, language/legal requirements, detailed taxonomy, regulated goods, media, vehicles, subscriptions, unit pricing, bundles and multipacks. Structured title/description or other nested/unsupported columns are explicitly unassessed. A supplied structured counterpart is not falsely reported as a missing plain title/description. AI origin cannot be inferred from the file. Rows with no identifiers still require the actual category/manufacturer context; declaring identifier_exists=no is not proof of eligibility.
Zero supported file errors does not mean Merchant Center approval. There is no API/account connection, remote URL/image fetch, feed synchronization, automatic correction or promise to fix account/policy-level disapprovals.
Limits and privacy
10 MB, 50,000 rows (demo 50), 100 columns, 100-character headers and 16,384 characters per cell. At most 100,000 findings; larger findings sets are refused in full, not truncated. Demo uses your own compatible file and shows the core review without CSV exports. Input remains in tab memory. Clear/file/context changes discard prior results; closing the tab discards the session. Downloaded reports remain on your device. No file-content analytics, upload or browser persistence.
Sources and updates
The snapshot was reviewed 21 October 2026 against the official product data specification and its linked attribute documentation. Rules are fixed to that date and official requirements can change. For example, Google's image requirements have a future enforcement date; this file-only tool does not inspect images or mark their dimensions as passed. Always consult current official requirements before upload.
